We report a quantum wave packet dynamics study of van der Waals molecular p
redissociation. The quantum phase space structure as a function of time for
HeI2 fragmentation is constructed using a Wigner representation. The predi
ssociation rate is extracted from the time autocorrelation function, and co
mparisons are made to the results of other calculations. We have also made
a motion picture of the energy flow as a function time during the fragmenta
tion process.
