The qualitative theory of (e,2e) spectroscopy for the valence states of cop
per oxide materials is developed. It is shown, that cuprate oxides' intrins
ic properties such as Cu-O hybridization, strong coulombic and antiferromag
netic correlations, and effects of doping can be studied within the EMS. Th
is is very encouraging, because these properties are believed to be a key p
oint in the understanding of high-T-c superconductivity of the cuprate oxid
es.
