Gi. Romanovskaya et al., Time selection in the room temperature phosphorescence method for the analysis of mixtures of polycyclic aromatic compounds in micellar solutions, J ANALYT CH, 54(7), 1999, pp. 623-626
It is proposed to use the time selection principle in the laser-induced roo
m temperature phosphorescence method. Optimal conditions are determined for
the detection of room temperature phosphorescence of different polycyclic
aromatic hydrocarbons in micellar systems. It is demonstrated that the spec
ific features of room temperature phosphorescence in micellar solutions are
long lifetimes of excited triplet states and the absence of interaction be
tween individual compounds in mixtures. These features made it possible to
use this method for the simultaneous determination of some polycyclic aroma
tic hydrocarbons in mixtures.
