Binary solid-liquid equilibria of organic systems containing different amides and sulfolane

Solid-liquid equilibria of 14 binary systems containing various amides or s ulfolane with organic compounds have been measured by a visual technique. T he substances investigated are important and often used as selective solven ts in the chemical industry, for example for extractive distillation or ext raction. Assuming eutectic behavior for all systems, the experimental data are compared with the results of the Modified UNIFAC (Dortmund) model.
