Abstract
The viscosities of solutions of lithium perchlorate (LiClO4), lithium tetra fluoroborate (LiBF4), Lithium hexafluoroarsenate (LiAsF6), and sodium perch lorate (NaClO4) in 2-methoxyethanol (1) + water (2) have been measured at 2 98.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K. The data have been analyzed by the Jones-Dole equation for the associated as well as unassociated electrolytes to evaluat e the viscosity B coefficients of the electrolytes. The resulting B coeffic ient and its dependence on temperature provide useful information regarding changes in the solvent structure.
