Abstract
The densities of wave dislocations (or topological charge densities of wave dislocations) in terms of the complex scalar wave are given from the defin ition of topological charges of wave dislocations. The branch conditions fo r generating,annihilating, colliding, splitting and merging of wave disloca tions are obtained according to the properties of the complex scalar wave i tself. It is found that the velocities of wave dislocations are infinite wh en they are annihilating or generating, which is obtained only from the top ological properties of the complex scalar wave.
