Vibrational spectra of cesium triborate crystal

Raman spectra of cesium triborate were recorded at room temperature and liq uid nitrogen temperature and the infrared reflectance spectra at room tempe rature. The assignments of characteristic vibrational modes are presented. A comparison of cesium berate and lithium berate was made. A correlation ex ists between the LO-TO splittings of vibrational modes of berate crystals a nd their non-linear optical efficiencies. Copyright (C) 1999 John Wiley & S ons, Ltd.
