Abstract
Polarographic technique has been used to determine the stability constants (log beta) of ternary complexes of Zn-11 with L-lysine, L-ornithine, L-seri ne, L-phenylglycine, L-phenylalanine, L-glutamic acid and L aspartic acid a s primary Ligands and a picoline as secondary ligand at pH = 8.50 +/- 0.01 and ionic strength mu = 1.0 M (NaClO4) at 25 degrees. The waves of Zn and i ts complexes are quasireversible. Zn forms 1 : 1 : I, I: 1 : 2 and 1 : 2 : 1 complexes. The kinetic parameters are also determined.
