On the status of radiation protection in nuclear power plants - Precautionary measures for incidents.

Within the scope of radiation protection tasks to be carried out in nuclear power plants, one can essentially make a distinction between three differe nt areas: Protection of the environment under normal operating conditions; Protection of personnel under normal operating conditions,- Precautionary m easures for incidents. In a recent contribution experiences made in the pas t with regard to the two first-mentioned areas were analysed In this paper, the precautionary measures for incidents which have to be implemented in o rder To comply with the modified Atomic Energy Law are analyzed.
