Abstract
Parents' beliefs about locus of control in relation to their children were measured. Previous studies have failed to find a relationship bet ween parental locus of control and children's locus of control. The re sults of this study indicate that an external parental locus of contro l was related to children's attributing their successes and failures t o unknown causes. There was also a strong correlation between parental locus of control and children's behavior toward the parent.
