We report the observation of commensurability oscillations, induced by a on
e-dimensional periodic potential, in high-mobility GaAs two-dimensional hol
e system confined to a triangular quantum well. The measured commensurabili
ty oscillations exhibit two frequencies which agree well with those calcula
ted from the Fermi contours of the two spin-split hole subbands, providing
clear evidence for the observation of spin-resolved ballistic transport.
