Abstract
In order to facilitate a series of studies on the systematics of Flammulina , the basionym for the type species, Agaricus velutipes, is epitypified, tw o new species epithets and one varietal name are proposed (F. populicola, F . rossica, and F. velutipes var. lupinicola), and two new combinations are published (F. elastica [equivalent to Agaricus elasticus] and F. elastica f . longispora [ F. velutipes f. longispora]).
