Abstract
Strange hadronic matter with nucleons,Lambda-hyperons and Xi-hyperons is st udied by using a modified quark-meson coupling (MQMC) model in a mean-field approximation. The density dependence of the effective baryon masses as we ll as the saturation properties and stabilities of the strange hadronic mat ter are discussed. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
