Abstract
The synthesis and computational studies of 5-(4-thio-beta-D-ribofuranosyl)- furan-3-carboxamide (furanthiofurin) and 5-(4-thio-beta-D-ribofuranosyl)thi ophene-3-carboxamide (thiophenthiofurin) are reported.
