Abstract
Chlorine-35 NQR spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations have been ap plied to provide detailed information on the structure and conformation of 2-chloro- 2'-deoxyadenosine and 2-chloroadenosine. The Gaussian package was used and the calculations were performed at the B3LYP level of the theory in the 6-31G* basis set.
