In situ Small Angle X-ray Scattering characterization of morphological evol
ution during ageing of a commercial Al-Li alloy is studied at various agein
g temperatures. Late stages of the phase separation phenomenon are studied.
The existence of scaling length describing the overall demixing kinetics i
s evidenced. The minority phase average sizes are shown to follow a power l
aw time dependence, which deviates from the usual Lifshitz-Slyozov trend. F
inally dynamical scaling behaviour has been observed for samples during the
Ostwald ripening stage.
