Abstract
Over 50,000 commercial air dives carried out in the Northern Arabian Gulf o ver a three-year period were analyzed to identify risk factors for decompre ssion sickness. Dive depth and bottom time were found to be the only signif icant factors and occurrence rates were comparable to those found in the 19 80s in the North Sea.
