Abstract
The modified Rabinowitsch-Mooney equation, together with the correspon ding relations for consistency variables has been employed to the flow solution of generalized Newtonian fluid through a fixed and a fluidiz ed bed of spherical particles. The usefulness of the proposed equation s has been verified for a power-law fluid, using both the published an d original experimental results. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
