Abstract
The non-linear stability of the triangular equilibrium point L-4 in th e generalized restricted three-body problem has been examined. The pro blem is generalized in the sense that the infinitesimal body and one o f the primaries have been taken as oblate spheroids. It is found that the triangular equilibrium point is stable in the range of linear stab ility except for three mass ratios.
