Abstract
The hard thermal loop effective action for Goldstone bosons is deduced by s ymmetry arguments from the corresponding result for gauge bosons. Pseudosca lar mesons in chromodynamics and magnons in an antiferromagnet are discusse d as special cases, including the hard thermal loop contribution to their s cattering. [S0556-2821(99)50211-7].
