Spin-momentum correlations in inclusive semileptonic decays of polarized Lambda(b) baryons - art. no. 014021

We consider spin-momentum correlations between the spin of the bottom baryo n hb and the moments of its decay products in its inclusive semileptonic de cay. We define several polar and azimuthal spin-momentum correlation measur es in different event coordinate systems. The values of the spin-momentum c orrelation measures are calculated up to O(1/m(b)(2)) using the standard OP E und HQET methods. Some of the measures turn out to be sufficiently large to make them good candidates for a determination of the polarization of the hb in e.g. Z decays. [S0556-2821(99)07313-0].
