Abstract
The topic of this paper is the industrial application of fuzzy logic m ainly connected to the examination of danger caused by electrostatic c harging in inflammable atmospheres, and the development of the most ef fective protection. The results of control engineering using fuzzy log ic verify, that complex systems can be operated with the help of this new method. Fuzzy logic has been used in a new field, for examination of fires and explosions arising from electrostatic charging.
