Abstract
A new class of vinylphosphonates, alpha-phosphonovinyl nonafluorobutanesulf onates (i.e. nonaflates) is readily prepared from the corresponding acylpho sphonates and nonafluorobutanesulfonyl fluoride in the presence of DBU. The obtained nonaflates are converted to the phosphono-containing enynes and d ienes via Pd catalyzed coupling reactions. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. A ll rights reserved.
