Abstract
Oxidation of 1-[2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)ferrocenyl]ethanol by manganese dioxide proceeds with complete diastereospecificity without any catalyst. N ew diastereopure and enantiopure ferrocenyl compounds were produced. (C) 19 99 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
