Abstract
Approaches to the synthesis of alpha,beta-unsaturated trifluoromethyl-conta ining ketones and their properties are reviewed. The particular attention w as devoted to their use in organic synthesis as useful building blocks for the synthesis of various compounds bearing a trifluoromethyl group.
