New organosilicon fullerene-containing polymers were synthesized by the rea
ction of fullerene C-60 with lithium poly(siltrimethylenes) produced by the
anionic polymerization of 1-silacyclobutane derivatives. High-molecular-ma
ss fractions isolated from the polymer mixture by thin-layer chromatography
were studied by HPLC, and IRI UV, and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. It was shown t
hat these fractions are composed of molecules in which a fullerene nucleus
is attached to two polymer organosilicon chains. The resulting polymers ret
ain the properties of the initial poly(siltrimethylenes) and acquire the el
ectronic and electrochemical properties of fullerene.
