Abstract
Features of the thermodynamics of blending of isotactic PP and HDPE are ana lyzed on the basis of generalized experimental data obtained by the methods of elastic-strain action and plastic flow under high pressure. Effect of t he blending conditions (pressure and shear deformation) and molecular masse s of the components on the thermodynamic Gibbs potential is qualitatively e stimated in terms of the interaction between components.
