F. Ritz et al., CONSISTENT TREATMENT OF RELATIVISTIC EFFECTS IN ELECTRODISINTEGRATIONOF THE DEUTERON, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 55(5), 1997, pp. 2214-2233
The influence of relativistic contributions to deuteron electrodisinte
gration is systematically studied in various kinematic regions of ener
gy and momentum transfer. As theoretical framework the equation-of-mot
ion and the unitarily equivalent S-matrix approaches are used. In a (p
/M) expansion, all leading order relativistic pi-exchange contribution
s consistent with the Bonn one-boson-exchange potential model (OBEPQ)
are included. In addition, static heavy-meson-exchange currents includ
ing boost terms, gamma pi rho/omega currents, and h-isobar contributio
ns are considered. Sizable effects from the various relativistic two-b
ody contributions, mainly from pi exchange, have been found in inclusi
ve form factors and exclusive structure functions for a variety of kin
ematic regions.
