The preparation and crystal structure of (NH4NSO2)(3) (a = 11.720(2), b = 6
.156(6), c = 14.030(2) Angstrom,beta = 96.69(8)degrees) is reported. The st
ructure reveals a chair-conformation of the anions, which are arranged to f
orm a hexagonal rod stacking. Compared to cyclometatriphosphates the cation
s are coordinated differently due to the different basicities of the bridgi
ng nitrogen and oxygen atoms, respectively.
