Abstract
Tunnel interference of acoustic waves propagating in opposite directions in an absorbing medium is considered. In the framework of a one-dimensional p roblem without regard for the reradiation of waves at the medium boundaries , the interference energy flux of waves propagating in an elastic medium in opposite directions is introduced. Specific features of the interference o f elastic waves propagating in one direction and in opposite directions in media with energy dissipation are analyzed.
