Abstract
We study an eigenvalue problem concerning the vibration of an interfac e separating two non miscible fluids with different densities. We obta in an abstract existence theorem generalizing a result due to Boujot [ 12]. We propose a method of approximation by penalization and we give an estimation of the error.
