Abstract
The light scattering microscopy is proposed, which reconstructs the height distribution function of a random surface from the speckle intensity of the scattered light wave. In the computational simulation, we generated the ra ndom surfaces of Gaussian correlation and the speckle intensities, and reco nstructed the surfaces by Gerchberg-Saxton (G-S) and modified G-S algorithm . The simulation proves this microscopy works well.
