Abstract
A new method is proposed for preparation of a p-tert-butyl-calix[4] arene-b onded silica stationary phase. The chemically modified p-teut-butyl-calix[4 ]arene is attached to silica gel via the silane coupling reagent gamma-(eth ylenediamino)-propyl-triethoxyl-sila The bonded phase has been characterize d by Si-29 and C-13 cross polarization/magic angle spinning solid-state nuc lear magnetic spectrometry. The retention behavior of polycyclic aromatic h ydrocarbons (PAHs), nucleosides and bases has been investigated on the bond ed phase in the reversed-phase mode.
