Abstract
The film flotation method, described by Fuerstenau DW, Williams MC. Particl e Characterization 1987; 4: 7, is extended to a variety of organic pigments , to provide information about the surface heterogeneity of their constitue nt particles, and some preliminary results are reported. Differences in sur face heterogeneity amongst four copper phthalocyanine pigments are discusse d, and the data for these pigments are compared with those for a metal-free phthalocyanine pigment and two azo pigments.
