Abstract
A novel and new application of four-wave mixing (FWM) in a semiconductor op tical amplifier (SOA) is proposed. All-optical simultaneous code and wavele ngth conversion of 10 Gbitis binary phase shift keying (BPSK) pulse sequenc e codes has been experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
