Abstract
A novel dual-channel surface plasmon resonance sensor is described which us es a high refractive index overlayer to spectrally separate sensing channel s, allowing for their simultaneous interrogation using a single spectrograp h. A theoretical analysis of the sensor is presented as well as experimenta l results demonstrating its capability as a biosensor.
