Excited states in the T-z = 0 nucleus Br-70 have been investigated using th
e reaction Ni-58(O-16,1p3n). gamma rays were detected with one EUROBALL CLU
STER detector and three single HPGe detectors. Charged particles and neutro
ns were registered with the Rossendorf silicon ball and six modules of the
EUROBALL neutron wall, respectively. The identification of gamma transition
s in Br-70 is based on the analysis of gamma gamma-proton-neutron coinciden
ces. A level scheme of Br-70 has been established for the first time. It sh
ows a multiplet-like structure of probably isospin T = 0 while T = 1 isobar
ic analogue states are not observed.
