Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of 1,3,10, 12-tetraoxo-2,11-(diphenylsil ylene)[5.5]par- acyclophane obtained by reaction of I,4-benzenedimethalzol and dichlorodiphenylsilane is reported. The structure was established by ma ss spectrometry;H-1, C-13 and Si-29 NMR; and X-ray diffraction analysis. (C ) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
