Abstract
Induction periods have been measured far various supersaturated aqueous sol utions of ammonium dihydrogen orthophosphate doped with sodium chloride and sodium dihydrogen orthophosphate dihydrate by the direct vision method. Va rious critical nucleation parameters have been calculated based on classica l theory for homogeneous nucleation and the results are discussed. The crit ical nucleation parameters increase with the increase in concentration of d oping in the (NH4)H2PO4 solutions for both the dopants.
