Abstract
Starting from 1,6-anhydro-beta-D-galactopyranose 1, 2,3-di-O-methyl-D-galac tose 5, 2-O-methyl-D-galactose 10, 3-O-methyl-D-galactose 11 and 3,4-di-O-m ethyl-D-galactose 12 have been synthesized. Ail of them have been character ised ap their alditol acetates.
