Compositions with x less than or equal to 0.10 in the Ca1-xLaxSn1-xCoxO3 sy
stem form solid solution. Dielectric properties of these materials have bee
n studied in the temperature range 300-500 K as a function of frequency fro
m 100 Hz to 1 MHz. Dielectric constant of the composition with x = 0.01 rem
ains almost independent of temperature up to 350 K while for the samples wi
th x = 0.05 and 0.10, it increases continuously with temperature in the ent
ire temperature range, This shows significant contribution of interfacial p
olarization to dielectric parameters of these compositions. Scanning electr
on microphotographs show the faceted nature of the grains.
