Abstract
Staphylococcus schleiferi subsp. schleiferi is associated with a range of n osocomial infections, but the pathogenic mechanisms by which these occur ar e poorly understood. This study provides phenotypic and genotypic evidence fur the expression of a cell nail-anchored fibronectin-binding protein by t his species.
