Abstract
We investigate the stability of the coupled soliton solutions of a two-comp onent Z(2) vector field model, in contraposition to similar solutions of a Z(2) x Z(2) model recently introduced. We demonstrate that the coupled soli ton solutions of the Z(2) model are classically unstable. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0022-2488(99)01107-X].
