Abstract
The importance of various symmetries among splitting functions and coeffici ent functions is discussed. We study the scheme invariance in detail by con structing appropriate physical observables. We also discuss the Drell-Levy- Yan relation between spacelike and timelike observables. The relations comi ng from supersymmetry are also discussed.
