Abstract
FT-IR studies were carried out for various alpha- and gamma-crystalline int ercalates of zirconium phosphate (ZrP) and also for zirconium phosphatephos phite (ZrPP). The characteristic peaks of n-alkanols, n-alkylamines, benzyl alcohol and benzylamine, diethyleneglycol and also some amino acid intercal ates/derivatives were determined. Based on the data assumptions are made ab out the type of bonding between the layers and also the variety of intercal ates of various crystalline form zirconium phosphates was determined.
