Abstract
We prove the existence of a solution of the nonlinear equation - div (a(x)\del u\(p-2)del u) = lambda f(x,u) in R-N and in exterior domains, respectively. We concentrate to the case wh en p greater than or equal to N and the nonlinearity f(x,.) is "superlinear " and "subcritical".
