Abstract
Algebraic independence of the numbers Sigma(h greater than or equal to 0) ' b(h)/(Rkdh+1)(m), where {R-n}(n greater than or equal to 0) is a sequence of integers satisfying a binary linear recurrence relation and (b(h))(h gre ater than or equal to 0) is a periodic sequence of algebraic numbers not id entically zero, are studied.
