The corrosion resistance of E (NI-P-B) alloy deposited on etched Al-substra
te in 0.1 and 0.05 M H2SO4 solutions as acidic media and 0.05 M NaCl soluti
on as a neutral medium was investigated using potentiodynamic technique. Th
e logarithmic current density was plotted against the potential of the elec
trochemical tell. Corresponding cathodic and anodic polarization curves obt
ained exhibit Tafel-type behaviour. The effect of heat treatment at 350 deg
rees C and 550 degrees C for one hour on the corrosion resistance in 0.1 M
H2SO4 Solution also, was investigated.
