P. Abelard et Jf. Baumard, THE ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY OF CUBIC STABILIZED ZIRCONIA - THE RESULTS OF AN IUPAC COLLABORATIVE STUDY, Pure and applied chemistry, 67(11), 1995, pp. 1891-1904
The purpose of the present work is to compare data obtained by impedan
ce spectroscopy in several laboratories on the same ionically conducti
ve materials. Yttria-doped zirconia, stabilized under the cubic form,
was selected. Measurements were done in the temperature range 200-600
degrees C to get the bulk and the grain boundary contributions to the
material impedance. The data were analyzed centrally. The de conductiv
ity could be obtained with a fair accuracy. Problems concerning the de
termination of ac properties are clearly pointed out. Some recommendat
ions are made to improve the general reliability of measurements made
with the aid of impedance spectroscopy.
