G. Lhersonneau et al., Decays of Rh-110 and Rh-112 to the near neutron midshell isotopes Pd-110 and Pd-112 - art. no. 014315, PHYS REV C, 60(1), 1999, pp. 4315
The decays Rh-110 and Rh-112 have been investigated using on-line mass sepa
ration with the ion-guide technique. Extended decay schemes have been const
ructed for both the low- and high-spin states in Rh-112. Mixing ratios for
the collective transitions from the 2(2)(+) and 3(1)(+) states in Pd-112 ha
ve been measured by gamma-gamma angular correlation. The presence of two se
ts of 0(+) and 2(+) states in the 1.1-1.4 MeV range suggests the existence
of an intruder band, the energy of which is the lowest in Pd-110 with two n
eutrons fewer than the midshell. The quasiparticle levels at 2195 and 2755
keV an assigned I = 4 and I = 5, respectively. The corresponding levels in
Pd-110 an a new level at 2261 keV and the 2805 keV level. Systematics of lo
gft values and excitation energies of these quasiparticle levels is remarka
bly smooth. The strong beta feeding to the I = 5 quasiparticle state can be
regarded as similar to the main branch in the decay of odd Rh isotopes, wh
ile a neutron is a spectator.
